We are releasing this week’s episode early. We recorded our episode late on March 31st. We received news today, April 1st, 2007 that Joe Murphy, our friend, fellow podcaster and ‘brother’ in the FarPoint Media family, has fought his battle with leiomyosarcoma carcinoma to its finish. After this episode we are going to be joining many members of our extended family and honoring Joe’s memory with a week of silence. Don’t worry, buddy, it’s a week without show notes.

We geek on Marvel’s attempts toward having a Batman of their own.
Then we get off-subject and chat about Iron-man
Voice Mail from The Computer King: Steel your hearts Geek-girls. CK is chatting us up with his thoughts on Captain America vs. Batman.
Is Cap’s shield magnetic? After a bit of discussion, we do answer the question.
Forum Post from Kendermage: The winners are different than any of us expected.

On a personal note, I was continually amazed and impressed with Joe’s thorough show notes for every show he was involved with. When I began to type up show notes, I always used what he did on Wingin’ It as a model for how they should be done. Even something as silly and irreverent as the Wingin’ It Voice mail show received as much time and attention as anything else Joe did. It’s something small, but I know it’s going to be a long time before I write show notes with a dry eye. - Tony Mast
